LIBYA--IS THE UN FAIR DINKUM--DESTROYING 25% OF HIS HEAVY WEAPONS--WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??
The west is hoping that he is at breaking point, hope will not do the job, action is whats needed, not continuous meetings to discuss the matter.
It took several days to decide who was going to take charge, meanwhile Gaddafi gathered his troops and began killing again.
The latest story is that the following-- may or may not have happened.
The prime minister, speaker of parliament, oil minister, intelligence minister and Mr Koussa's deputy as foreign minister may have left the country! MAY HAVE LEFT!!
Just what is the aim of the UN, so far destroying 25% of their heavy weapons means that they have 75% of their weapons intact WITH WHICH ALLOW THEM TO CONTINUE TO KILL THEIR OWN PEOPLE.
Does that not tell us that these people are going to get their arse kicked severely if the UN does not step up to the plate.
Is this an all show and no go affair, or is it being taken seriously, I hope these people have not been led up the garden path by the west that as so many have been before.
LET'S HOPE THIS PATH LEADS SOMEWHERE
