The idea of Robb - a member of the Opposition - suddenly arguing against full government disclosure is somewhat quaint in itself.
I've never heard that one before.
The "Red Book" should be kept under wraps because, to quote him "it contains frank and fearless advice on the economic outlook".
Wouldn't we like to see that.
Where does all this belligerence leave Abbott:
1. Firstly he's seen as still being fuelled by campaign aggression the election outcome requires calm.
2. Second he's seen as shifty on the issue of the Coalition costings.
3. Most importantly, in one foul swoop, he has tainted his relationship with the independents.
The latter is not a good look for someone potentially relying on those same independents to support the Coalition.
Above all it has left Abbott looking like he's still an Opposition Leader..... Not a Prime Minister in waiting.
All we need to know is that Abbott's behavior has left Labor "flabbergasted".
Why is he behaving like this, are their figures so bad they don't dare show them to Treasury, let alone show them to the voters.
Abbott has given Julia Gillard hope, he has shown the Coalition to be untrustworthy.
He's clearly got it all wrong. From here on Tony, just say "yes".
Unless he really wants another election, that way he will never have to show us the figures.
THEY SAY THE TRUTH IS SOMEWHERE NEAR HERE
SHOULD WE KEEP DIGGING OR DO YOU THINK
THEY BURNED THEM
THERE'S NO SIGN OF ANY FIGURES
Finally, an issue that I am passionate about. I have looked for information of this caliber for the last several hours. Your site is greatly appreciated.
