WHY WE SHOULD LEAVE AFGANISTAN

INFILTRATION by the Taliban
CORRUPTION of the government
FACTIONALISM by tribal groups
ILLITERATE population who need a basic education before we can do anything
A POLICE FORCE who have five killed for every one Afghan soldier
THE CHALLENGES for Australian Army and Police are immense in training its Afghan counterparts.
THE BIG ONE--ELECTIONS THAT WERE SO CORRUPT THAT ONE QUARTER OF ALL VOTES HAVE TO BE SCRAPPED
MORE THAN 90 percent of the world's illicit opium IS BEING GROWN IN AFGHANISTAN.
IF THE ENGLISH, RUSSIAN AND AMERICANS ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHERS WHO HAVE TRIED TO CONTROL AFGHANISTAN HAVE ALL FAILED
WHY WILL OUR TINY CONTRIBUTION MAKE A DIFFERENCE, NO IT WON'T.
OUR AUSTRALIAN MEN AND WOMEN ARE RISKING THERE LIVES.
WHY? BECAUSE AMERICA ASKED
WE HAVE HAD GOVERNMENTS IN THIS COUNTRY FOR YEARS THAT
CAN'T SAY NO, THEY ARE GUTLESS
A TYPICAL AUSTRALIAN
AMERICAN TELLING HIM HOW HIGH
