AUSTRALIAN CRICKET BALLS ARE TERRIFIED-NOT GETTING ENOUGH REST

Australian cricket balls are threatening to stike, they are complaining that they are being belted all over the field without a break.

They are complaining that they rely on taking wickets to have a break every now and then.

If Australian bowlers don't lift their game they are considering a strike, they are suggesting that their reserves, the Red coloured tennis balls will take their place.

Comments by the President of the Red Ball association suggested that the Red tennis balls would be just as affective, they couldn't be any worse, given the quality of the Australian bowlers at the moment.

The bowlers would have to lift their game considerably before he would allow any of his members to make themselves available for any future tests this year.

"YOU DON'T WORK ALL DAY FOR NOTHING"
SAID ONE BALL, HE DOES NOT WANT TO BE NAMED

Sarah Palin compares WikiLeaks founder Australian Julian Assange to "al-Qa'ida.'

"Assange is not a 'journalist,' any more than the 'editor' of al-Qa'ida's new English-language magazine Inspire is a 'journalist,'''

"He is an anti-American operative with blood on his hands,''

"Why was he not pursued with the same urgency we pursue al-Qa'ida and Taliban leaders?'' she said.

"What if any diplomatic pressure was brought to bear on NATO, EU, and other allies to disrupt WikiLeaks' technical infrastructure?'' she asked.

So now Julian Assange is a buddy of Osama bin Ladin?

Let's send the troops in Sarah he's only one Aussie we could nuke the son of a *****.

Sarah Palin, the would be if she could be Leader of the free word has an answer for everything and it usually has something to do with guns and war.

If she were in power they would wipe out Iceland because the WikiLeaks site is there.

She probably has an eye on Australia because Julian was born and raised in this home of terrorism.

Surely Americans don't take any notice of this diatribe.

US SHOOTS THE MESSENGER-slams 'criminals' behind WikiLeaks

Secretary of state Hillary Clinton says,
"We are taking aggressive steps to hold responsible those who stole this information."

"Barack Obama was decidedly "not pleased" by the WikiLeaks release, adding (those responsible)does he mean WikiLeaks, or the so called "criminals" who had committed a serious offence.

The incoming chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, Republican Peter King, wants even tougher action.
"I'm also calling on secretary of state Hillary Clinton to declare WikiLeaks a foreign terrorist organisation. By doing that we will be able to seize their funds
"To me they are a clear and present enemy of the United States of America."(paranoia has set in with a vengeance)

Australia cables

There are 1,500 cables that mention Australia.
One cable already released about the situation in Zimbabwe describes Australia as rock solid but largely uninfluential or irrelevant.
This is of course the opposite of what we in Australian have been told by past and present governments.(shock horror we are a great power)

The fact that many governments are blaming WikiLeaks, shows that they are quick to blame the messenger. Surely it is the US governments slack security, regarding sensitive information.

Have they not heard of the Internet, the leaks could have been sent to many news sites in many countries, would they now be labelling them foreign terrorist organisations also!

Does the US government really believe that other countries haven't similar statements(not very flattering to the US) floating around in their documents.

The Internet is here guys, get over it, you have to learn to live with it, tighten your security, stop crying over spilled milk.

GET USED TO IT, IT'S HEAR, GET OVER IT, GROW UP!

Sarah Palin-Quotes
This person could become President of the United States of America
"But obviously, we've got to stand with our North Korean allies." --Sarah Palin, how she would handle the current hostilities between the two Koreas. Nov. 24

"I want to help clean up the state that is so sorry today of journalism. And I have a communications degree." --Sarah Palin, Nov. 22
"Where did she get it"!

"Who hijacked term: 'feminist'? A cackle of rads who want 2 crucify other women with whom they disagree on a singular issue; it's ironic --Sarah Palin, Aug. 18

"As we work and sight see on America's largest island, we'll get to view more majestic bears, so now is a good time to draw attention to the political equivalent of the species." --Sarah Palin, referring to Kodiak Island in Alaska, Hawaii is America's biggest island, 2010

"Ground Zero Mosque supporters: doesn't it stab you in the heart, as it does ours throughout the heartland? Peaceful Muslims, please refudiate." -- Sarah Palin, 2010 "refudiate is not a word"
"We used to hustle over the border for free health care we received in Canada. And I think now, isn't that ironic?" --Sarah Palin, admitting that her family used to get treatment in Canada's single-payer health care system, despite having demonized such government-run programs as socialized medicine that will lead to death-panel-like rationing.
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE DAMAGE SHE COULD DO AS THE LEADER OF THE MOST POWERFUL NATION ON EARTH.
I can imagine her having a conversation along these lines.
"I'm the president and it was silly mistake, no different than burning a cake",it was only a small country.
I just misspelled it, now that it's gone, no big deal, after a while people will forget we nuked it, won't they?
What about Iraq, we made those weapon stories up, so whats so wrong, a small mistake occasionally, it's not so bad.

Straussed--The violin(bat)stroked the ball to the outfield--The Cook meanwhile made a meal of our bowlers

Within half an hour of the second session of the first teethe pair had reached 150, which made it the best opening partnership in Australia by a visiting team for 20 years.
Australia's worst fears and England's highest hopes have been confirmed. On the evidence presented yesterday, Ricky Ponting's team is not going to reclaim the Ashes.
It's not the captain's fault. He juggled his resources and placed his fieldsmen to the best of his ability. It's just that the bowling lacks penetration, and the fielding is just serviceable.
England's rally at the Gabba was as telling as Australia's inability to press home their advantage. Over the years, this ground has taken no prisoners.
All we can do now is avoid baring our bums and pray we don't collapse. We have to last it out for a draw.
HAS THE HORSE BOLTED FOR THE FIRST TEST IN AUSTRALIA
CAN WE SAVE IT?
 WITH A DETERMINED EFFORT, YES!

TIMES UP FOR LABOUR--AFTER 10 YEARS"THE BELL TOLLS"-- THE COALITION DIDN'T WIN--THE GOVERNMENT LOST

The Victorian state election was the most predicable in years, the voters want a change and they don't care much which side of politics.
It was about a change, weather for the best or not is still to be seen.

Coalition and Labour governments both fall into the same slot, they become complacent and lazy.

Previous Coalition governments in Victoria who have been in for some years have shot themselves in the foot, just as Brumby did this time.

Once there for some years they think they are entitled to rule. As an example look at the federal opposition, they can not except that they are in opposition, because they have come to believe they are entitled to rule, after a long stint in power. They are just starting to realise they must develop policies not just attack the government all the time.....we haven't seen any yet, we're assured they're coming.

The people of Australia are getting very savvy, they are not the predictable voters they once were.

So all parties beware, we will not live like mushrooms any more, feeding us bullshit and keeping us in the dark doesn't work like it used to.

Parties that do not have strong policies, will in future suffer the consequences, long stints in power will be hard won.

WE ARE WAKING UP,"WATCH IT"!

IRISH GOVERNMENT--LEECHES TO THE END--WHY HIT THE LOWEST PAID THE HARDEST?

AN UNCARING GOVERNMENT SLUGS THE MOST VULNERABLE, IT DOESN'T HAVE THE GUTS TO GO AFTER THOSE THAT CAN AFFORD TO PAY
  • Corporation tax rate to remain unchanged at 12.5%
  • 5billion euros in tax rises by lowering the threshold-Result-The lowest paid to pay more tax
  • Minimum wage cut by one euro to 7.65 euros per hour- Result-The lowest paid loose 40 euros a week
  • 2.8billion euros of welfare cuts by 2014-Result-The people that that need it, loose it.
  • 24,750 public sector jobs to be cut.-Result higher unemployment
  • Unemployment to fall from 13.5% to below 10% by 2014-Result-Wet pants-Pissing against the wind
  • VAT up from 21% to 22% in 2013, then 23% in 2014-Result-A big slug for the poor
  • The government wants to bring more people into the tax net by lowering thresholds thus bringing more of the low paid into the tax system, there is no mention of increasing the tax levels on the higher paid. The bulk of the money is to begin being raised in the 2011 tax year.
  • THIS PRIME MINISTER KNOWS HOW TO HURT

CRICKETING FANS IN UK DON'T SLEEP--SOME SUGGESTIONS

The following are suggestions by avid UK-fans-sick and desperate. God forbid that England looses again in Australia.
The health system in England is already geared up with extra councillors in case there is an epidemic of depression caused by the usual loss of the series.
I am informed that they are also prepared for the unthinkable, an English win. They have councillors specially trained ready to help the colonials in OZ out if they are requested
1. An instant pick- brushing your teeth.
2. Home early- 6 hours sleep before play begins? An hour sleep after play before work depending on  the batting.
3.Rent twins- Teething twins are available for rental if anyone is struggling to stay awake all night.
4.Housework- You start stock-piling jobs which can be done with an ear tuned to the radio about a week before. You go to bed early, set your alarm to 4am, try not to wake the not-quite-so-desperate cricket fans., iron/file/wash up/mop floors/put the washing on and listen to my heart's content.
5.Catheterising people-  not possible for most people, however if your a doctor it keeps you awake.
6. Bowling-  a few overs around the living room with a rubber practice ball usually does the job during quiet spells.
THE INSANITY STARTS SOON

THE IRISH PEOPLE PAY FOR BANKS-AGAIN,AGAIN AND AGAIN

So it's Ireland's turn, their government, bankers and the greedy stuffed it up and guess who's going to pay.

Once again ordinary people are paying for the Greed of bankers and those that chased a fast buck.
Do we see any of these people jailed or fined for their greed that has shaken average people to the core, no the governments that lost control are now once again making the average Joe pay.

Ireland is is doing the same to their people as all those who have found themselves in this situation, there is never a thought of taxing or charging bankers or the the fly by night fast buck merchants.

They instead attack the minimum wage, sack government workers, lower the unemployment benefits and attack the pensioners and people on welfare.

This sounds like a wish list written by big business and multi-nationals, of course, it was written by the International Monetary Fund which is the same thing.

So now we know for sure the monetary system is not in control of governments and will never be again.

Of course in Australia we have no such problems, but guess what the Opposition Coalition wants.
To treat our people in the same way even though we have one of the strongest economies in the world,
They want us to cut spending on essential spending and infrastructure.

Ideology gone mad, logic obviously doesn't come in to it, just dogma.

GREED IS GOOD, SO THE DOGMA GOES
All spending should float to the top, like fat it should always be skimmed off to the wealthy.
The average person should not be carried by the state, subsidies are OK provided they go to business.

TONY ABBOTT BIOGRAPHY- RIGHT WING WITH STRONG CATHOLIC BACKGROUND

The Tony Abbott biog

Born England
Schooled OZ St Aloysius Bronte, St Aloysius College, St Ignatious College Riverview.
University of Sydney BEc, LLB, became president of Student Representative Counsel being very right wing, Queens College Oxford, Rhodes Scholar MA.

1983 began studying for the priesthood St Patricks Seminary he was referred to as the Mad Monk, he didn't stick to it however, though he still at times does lapse into a sermon unfortunately.

He wrote articles first for the Sydney University Newspaper, and later The Catholic Weekly (surprise)and national publications like The Bulletin. He became well-known for his strongly worded criticism of trade unions and left-wing politics.
He eventually he became a journalist and wrote for The Australian Newspaper.(another surprise) In 1987 Abbott met his wife Margaret
1993 and 1994 he was the Executive Director of Australians for Constitutional Monarchy.(more surprises it's all too much)

Howard appointed Abbott to the key Health Portfolio in 2003.Abbott was involved in controversy in 2006 for opposing access to the abortion drug RU486, (he is a Catholic) and the Parliament voted to strip Health Ministers of the power to regulate this area of policy, prompted by his action.

During the 2007 Election. On October 31, he was forced to apologised for saying 'just because a person is sick doesn't mean that he is necessarily pure of heart in all things', after Bernie Banton, (an asbestos campaigner and terminal mesothelioma sufferer) was not present to collect a petition. Abbott called him 'gutless' for not being present.(the man was dying)

Mia Freedman, the influential blogger wrote of his modern ideas.

“I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that the Liberal Party has just elected a leader who is anti-abortion, anti-IVF, anti-stem cell research and who wants to ban no-fault divorce.’’

We shall follow his continuing life with interest, though I think his term in this job might be as limited as his attempt at priesthood.

To finish on a light note when he was asked about drugs he replied.

“To be sociable, I puffed on a marijuana cigarette, but I didn’t inhale – I don’t even inhale normal cigarettes.
When it comes to getting stoned in that way, I was a complete failure.

Does this remind you of any other person (Bill) who sometimes had trouble with the truth.

JULLIA GILLARD ATTACKED BY--JOE de BRUYN--NO GAY MARRIAGE-NO ABORTION-WHAT'S NEXT.

Joe de Bruyn--- has his eye on the prize

This gentleman is Joe de Bruyn, leader of the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association. Joe is at the forefront of protecting families from a vicious attack on their status in society. What is the nature of this threat? If you guessed Free Beer At Work Choices, you'd be wrong. The biggest danger to Australian families isn't a government hell bent on destroying the union he leads, it's a couple of men/women getting married.DO HIS UNION MEMBERS AGREE, HAS HE ASKED?

"It robs marriage of its unique and privileged status and it puts it on the same level as a radically different type of union," Mr de Bruyn said.
"At a time when we are fighting to protect working families, we are at the same time attacking the status of those same families."

Having succeeded in protecting Australian families from the dire threat of other people having sex in a way he doesn't like, Joe moved on to his next challenge. Protecting unborn union members. It's a major ethical challenge for Mr de Bruyn:

A store manager has his staff suspended above the deep fat fryer, after having forced them to sign AWAs, Mr de Bruyn is about to drop them in right in it, he doesn't consider it a major win.

He is more concerned about stem cells, abortion, gay marriage and I'm sure the rhythm method loosing favour.

On the other hand if you have a beaker full of 500 rapidly defrosting embryonic stem cells and some distance away is a vat of liquid nitrogen that will save the stem cells.

Mr de Bruyn, what do you do?

We don't know Joe, there may be a clue in the fact that you are a member of OPUS DEI

Indoctrinated blind faith is not my kind of faith.
As someone who has spent quite some time in a wheelchair I can assure you that it was not one of my first thoughts.
I thought tough titties get on with life, make the best of it!

THE IRISH JOKE IS NO LONGER A JOKE--HOWEVER THEY STILL HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR

  • From:The Sunday Times

  • November 17, 2010 12:00AM

  • Edited: S W Read

  • BANKRUPTCY is no joke to Ireland, desperate though they are, their humor is not dead.
IT sounds like a bad joke. Take a small country that has been so ravaged by the global financial crisis that it is on the verge of bankruptcy.
    They create a new festival.
Make fun of its predicament and ask people to pay to come. Surely nobody would turn up to an event billed as "Davos with jokes"?
At a talent show in Kilkenny last weekend, called Kilkenomics: Subject, Ireland's Got Economists, they came up with a winner.
The winner was the contestant who came up with the best plan to prevent Ireland becoming the second country in the European Union after Greece to go cap in hand to Brussels for a multi-billion-euro financial bailout.
The best suggestion? Merge with Australia: "They have lots of beer and mineral wealth but no water and no culture. We have no mineral wealth but lots of water and lots of culture. G'day Mate".

WILLIAM AND KATE----BIG MONEY FOR UK ECONOMY"Phew do they need it'! A BILLION IN TOURISM

Goodluck to Kate and William and a much needed boost to tourism for the UK.
Let's hope that mummy dear gets along better with Kate than she she did with William's mum.
After all Kate's dad was only an Airline pilot and mum was only a Hostess, god forbid. a mere commoner mixing it with Royalty.
I wonder what sort of tests she was put through over the last nine years, before she was given the nod. Provided she does not outshine the Queen as Diana did she'll do alright

Old Charles always had Camilla on the side, I don't think Diane was ever his first choice, Charley always did what mummy said.

Will,Will take after his father and have a bit on the side? Will,Will do the right thing?

Forgetting the value of Royalty which is in its self questionable, we can't deny that these weddings are huge money spinners, so they are definitely commercially viable.
The TV rights, exclusive interviews, the documentary and all the paraphernalia.

In Australia a cost benefit analysis would be needed, Malcolm Turnbull and(Tony Abbott the pretend opposition leader) would insist, the marriage would not take place if it didn't meet the criteria.

    Britain Royals Prince William
    $$$$--KATE AND WILLIAM--$$$$
    WILLIAM AN AUSTRALIAN KING Nooooooo?
A nice enough bloke but we don't need a king, we have enough power hungry politicians without continuing with this archaic system.
The monarchy perpetuates the aristocracy and Aussies aren't like that, we value who we are, not what we are or who our parents might have been.
