GERRY HARVEY=Harvey Norman, Domayne, Joyce Mayne=$$$ NOW GERRY WANTS MORE!

Gerry Harvey who is leading the campaign to charge GST on any online shopping has shot himself in the foot.
People are taking a hard look at Mr Harvey and all they see is greed, not the likable fellow they see in the adverts for Harvey Norman stores.
Then they find out that he owns other retailers who supposedly compete, do we see him on adverts for them no.
People go to these other outlets believing they are independent, is he being honest with his customers really?.

He is now trying to run backwards very fast away from being the face of the anti-online retailers.

He latest statement is a very large backward step.

''I am in a very, very, very difficult position and trying to extricate myself is quite difficult,'' Mr Harvey told BusinessDay. ''I am talking to the coalition and saying to them if we can get some small retailers that are happy to commentate and if the media is happy to report on smaller retailers then that would be much better.(small retailers seem to like online shopping, best of luck Mr Harvey)

He wants all eyes taken of the large retail chains.

His company also owns the bulky goods retailers Harvey Norman, Domayne, Joyce Mayne,Space Furniture, Ariston Appliances, along with numerous other, smaller businesses.
Gerry Harvey's net worth is estimated at $870 million and is ranked as #13 most richest people in Australia.
He is now considered one of the largest horse breeders in the world, with over 600 thoroughbreds in his stables.
He also owns 50% of the Magic Millions, one of the largest and most expensive thoroughbred auction events in the Australian racing industry.
Gerry Harvey has recently called any person buying online un-Australian.

In an interview in 2008 he described giving charity to the homeless as "a waste", and said that it was "helping a whole heap of no-hopers to survive for no good reason".

This is the guy who threatened to move of shore if he doesn't get his own way.
