Lets look at this in the light of day without the scare mongering and exaggeration about a new great big tax.
1.This is a new parliament, and a minority government.
2. Every party if given the chance will govern with whoever will get them into power.
3.Gillard and Abbott both tried to make deals with the Independents and Greens.
4.Both parties offered god knows what to get the deal done and put them in power.
5.The promises made by both parties would have entailed breaking the promises they made during the election campaign.
6.The end justifies the means, power is the prize.
7.The only thing Gillard and Abbott has in common is they have both changed their stance on carbon tax.
8.Gillard stopped Rudd from introducing anything and Abbott, now he does not seem to believe in climate change.
