An American man asked a bank cashier to "fill a bag with money" before realising he had forgotten to bring a bag with him.
The would-be robber walked into the bank in Okeechobee County, Florida and handed the member of staff a note that had the pointless demand written on it.
When she said she did not have a bag to put the cash in the hapless criminal ran away empty-handed and tried to escape on a bicycle he had parked in nearby trees.
A 61- year-old was arrested seven minutes later and was charged with attempted bank robbery.
