The concerted effort by Tony Abbott, News Ltd and the shock jocks to instill fear in the Australian people about global warming, mining tax and carbon tax has been so effective that the economy is suffering.
They have created a situation where working people are now terrified that half the workforce will be sacked because of the carbon tax..No real costs have been released!
Their attitude to climate change is beyond sceptical and they have convinced a large slice of the population that science cannot be believed.
They have both been in bed with the mining industry for so long its a wonder they haven't produced an offspring.
Australians are benefiting by sluggish consumer spending and house prices falling because of lack of confidence and fear of the GREAT BIG TAX that the very rich miners might have to pay.
Congratulations to both Tony Abbott and News Ltd, with a bit of luck they will cause a recession in an economy that is envied by the world.
They can congratulate themselves on doing something we would think impossible in a country with such a bright future.
Fairness is not something that comes to mind when we think of this group, they are apparently not in the least interested in the well being of Australia.
The have manipulated polling, made up horror stories and supported the big end of town at the peoples expense.
The aim of this group is to change government, their will is always placed above that of the people because this is a power play.
The good of the country and the wishes of the people are running last in this race.
Public opinion is guided by propaganda when most of our news media is in the hands of so few.
